Arrival Checklist
1. Go to the International Center in 146 Grinter Hall to check in.
Items to bring to the International Center:
- Passport
- DS-2019 immigration document
- I-94 (document received upon arrival to U.S.)
- Any necessary medical documents proving immunizations.
- Copy of the official UF Health Insurance Verification Form (if you have not already submitted with your application).
Meet with the Exchange Program Advisor for your Check in session. Receive Letter of Introduction with your assigned UF identification number (UFID).
2. If your immunizations have not been accepted, you will be directed to the Student Health Care Center (Infirmary).
3. Visit various academic departments if necessary for registration.
4. Get your Gator 1 student identification card at ID Card Services (located in the Reitz Union).
Items to bring for the Gator 1 card:
- $10 cash or Visa or MasterCard.
- Letter of Introduction received at check-in
- Passport
Establish a Gatorlink account - e-mail exchange advisor your Gatorlink address.
Change local address in UF Directory
5. Attend general orientation session held in the first week.
If you are a Law student or Undergraduate Business student, attend their mandatory orientation as well.
6. Submit final course schedule to the International Center after registration.
