Learning
K-12 Teacher Workshops provide insight, ideas and resources for bringing international concepts to Alachua County classrooms. Lesson plans on different topics and for many grades and subjects are made available by TGSC.
The nascent Intercultural Communications Institute (ICI) is a group of faculty and staff interested in intercultural communications. Courses, workshops, business outreach, and research are included in the ICI. If you are interested in learning more about ICI, contact Nikki Kernaghan.

The UFIC Speakers’ Series brings to campus outstanding national and international speakers to address a wide array of topics.
Engagement
Global Culture Photography Exhibitions - 2008 Competition Winners will be on display on campus and around Gainesville. Look for upcoming exhibitions at the following locations:
- Grinter Gallery at the University of Florida - December 8 - January 15, 2009.
Rotary International is an organization of 1.2 million business and professional leaders in more than 165 countries that provides humanitarian service of all kinds throughout the world. CONNECTIONS! provides a forum for international students and local Rotarians in the nearby community of Williston to exchange cross-cultural information with each other about traditions, food, personal philosophies and life experiences.
