"The Rise & Fall of the Aksumites: An Ancient Civilization in the Horn of Africa"
David Phillipson from Cambridge University will give a lecture in African archaeology. He was head of the Department of Pharmacognosy, The School of Pharmacy, University of London, from 1981 to 1994. He retired from full-time employment with the University in 1994 and was appointed Emeritus Professor of Pharmacognosy. In 1995 he was appointed as Wilson TS Wang Distinguished International Visiting Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong from January to June.
