Admission process for International Student **

The International Center's responsibility during the admission process is to assist all international students with the required immigration documents (I-20 if obtaining an F1 visa or DS-2019 if applying for a J1 student visa) to study in the United States. In addition to the admission application international students are required to submit the Certificate of Financial Responsibility (CFR) to receive the documents (I-20/DS-2019) to apply for the student visa.

Our office will prepare the document AFTER you have been admitted by the the University, if you are an undergraduate, or by your Academic Department AND the University, if you are a graduate student. Once you are fully admitted, our office will review your CFR. If the CFR is complete the International Center will prepare and send the I-20 or DS-2019 to you. If more information is required in order to process your document, the International Center will contact you by email. Once everything is received by our office your document (I-20 or DS-2019) will be processed and mailed to you.
