Indonesia Working Group

The Indonesia Working Group is a venue for sharing information, discussing current trends and facilitating learning and work done by UF faculty and graduate students in Indonesia.

Current Activities

The association of Public Land Grant Universities (APLU) has created a US-Indonesia Joint Council for Higher Education Partnership. The purpose of the council is to increase the engagement of the US and Indonesia higer education communities, and will be accomplished through:

  • Student Exchanges
  • Joint Research Partnerships
  • Faculty and Staff Exchanges
  • Mobilizing U.S./Indonesia Private Sector Participation

The Indonesia Working Group at UF was created in response to these increased opportunities, and includes faculty and graduate students currently working or interested in Indonesia. Meetings are regularly scheduled through the International Center.
