Global Fellows Program accepting applicationsThe University of Florida International Center (UFIC) is currently accepting applications from regular UF faculty members in all ranks with a research assignment, in the first 10 years of their academic career and with strong international research interests for the Global Fellows Program. The goals of the Global Fellows Program are to increase the number of faculty who participate regularly in global activities, promote faculty engagement in international research and build a cohort of UF scholars who will provide campus leadership in international activities. Research Abroad for Graduate Students funding opportunity call for applicationsThe University of Florida International Center (UFIC), in conjunction with the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Graduate School and the Office of the Provost, is pleased to announce the 2016-2017 Research Abroad for Graduate Students (RAGS) dissertation research award. This opportunity is open to advanced doctoral students in the STEM disciplines to conduct an extended period of research for their dissertation at a foreign laboratory or field-site during Spring or Summer 2017. Selected students will receive funding up to $10,000 towards the costs of the international research trip. Read more.
