One of the most popular activities is the Peer Advisors’ Country-Specific Pre-Departure Orientations, held at the end of the fall and spring semesters. Peer Advisors are current UF students in good standing who studied abroad while a student at UF.  The competitive application process begins every July.  Interested students submit an online application at the UFIC website.  This application includes questions and essays.  UFIC will selected students for follow-up interviews.
