Global Culture Photography Exhibit

This exhibit sponsored by the International Center and Grinter Gallery features photographs portraying the theme of “Global Culture” taken by study abroad students, international students, faculty, staff and alumni. Location: UF Grinter Gallery (Grinter Hall)

Food Drive in celebration of IEW
The Office of Enrollment Management is kicking off International Education Week by beginning their annual food drive. Stop by and give!

Location – Collection boxes will be located in the Admissions, Registrar and Student Financial Affairs lobbies (Criser Hall)


For the first time ever, the UF International Center will host an International Flags Parade displaying 100+ country flags. Become one of hundreds of international flag bearers who would proudly walk from the Hub to Plaza of the Americas (and back to the Hub) to kick off International Education Week and raise awareness of the importance of international education and UF’s global mission!   Everyone is welcome to join us during this fun activity to kick off International Education Week! Route: Parade will begin forming at 9:30am on the West loading area of the Hub. Parade leaves at 10:00am and will encompass a walk around the Hub, Century Tower/Auditorium, Grinter Hall, Plaza of the Americas, via Union Rd and Stadium Rd. ending at the same location (the Hub).
Important: All flags must be returned to the International Center.

Legal Issues in the US-A Conversation with a lawyer and a police officer
Legal knowledge that you should have! An attorney and a police officer will talk about legal issues that international students often face (e.g., how to avoid scams and things to be aware of in a housing contract). Bring questions--They will be available to answer them.
