Amanda Apatow

Executive Assistant, Executive Director’s Office

Amanda is the Executive Assistant to the Director of the UFIC, Dr. Susanne Hill. Her role in the UFIC is to assist Dr. Hill, facilitate agreements with international schools and organizations and plan UFIC events such as the bi-annual Study Abroad Fair and International Student Services Awards. As a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Amanda has enjoyed working and volunteering in the hospitality and event industry for companies such as Marriott and Disney. Her favorite international experience is traveling to Peru and visiting the Santa Teresa Hot Springs en route to visit Machu Picchu. In the future, she plans to swim with whale sharks in Belize and find her ancestors paintings in the Museo del Prado in Spain. In her free time she enjoys yoga, reading, traveling and visiting Florida’s natural springs.  Amanda moved to Gainesville in August of 2016 and thoroughly enjoys Gainesville’s nature and community.
